The Royal Sands Resort & Spa Cancun

I had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 5-star hotel and was impressed with the exclusive amenities and top-notch service. the Spa & wellness centre was a highlight, with a sauna, Jacuzzi and treatment rooms available. the outdoor swimming pool was beautifully maintained and there was easy beach access for a relaxing beach day. the massage and facial treatments were exceptional and left me feeling rejuvenated.

On one occasion, a certain alcohol was not immediately available but this was quickly rectified by the attentive staff.

The hotel is too big for me... I didn't like Cancún we went there because we were landing and taking off from there.

I went from Friday to Tuesday and they told me that on Saturday I had to change my room, it is very uncomfortable, they helped me to pass my things but in spite of that it did not seem to me suitable to do that... on top of that they did not pass two hats and after a few hours they called saying that they would make them arrive to me I went with my mom, and they didn't have any activities at night, so if we had to go out to some square.

Polite staff, great service at restaurants and bars, all rooms with ocean view, access to all royal resorts, plenty of seats at pools and beach.

Beaches, swimming pools

attention of all the staff was excellent, pools were beautiful and big, food was very good and with several options.

Don't have any events at night. At 11 o'clock, everything was cut off.

The poolside bar at The Royal was a highlight of my stay. I loved sipping on refreshing drinks while relaxing in the pool. The staff at the bar were attentive and always had a smile on their faces. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful beach, great food and drinks served at the beach beds. All Inclusive package allowed us to use it until 4 PM on our departure day. Room was spacious with a walk-in closet. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and we enjoyed dining in the specialty restaurants. Staff was friendly and attentive. Convenient and reasonably priced airport transfer through the concierge. Wi-Fi worked even on the beach. a wonderful experience.

This huge complex consisting of two large horseshoe buildings each around a swimming pool offers many different possibilities in terms of restaurants and places to relax. The beach is pleasantly laid out, with well-spaced and well-organised deckchairs. Both swimming pools offer plenty of space for lounging. The food was quite good.

The sheer gigantic size of the complex baffled me and I often felt lost in the labyrinthine corridors of the buildings that make it up, especially since the signs to find the various restaurants or the lobby are not very frequent. Moreover, as not everyone enjoys the all-inclusive treatment, it is actually quite restrictive: in addition to the coloured bracelet you wear, you have to give your room number and key for any order or towel and sign a receipt, even if everything is free. In short, one enjoys a relaxing anonymity but without charm.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beach was well-maintained. The service at the restaurants and pool bar was great, with accommodating staff and clear communication. Traveling with our kids was easy as they also enjoyed their time here. The room upgrade was definitely worth it for the lovely view. we had an amazing experience at The Royal Sands Resort & Spa and would highly recommend it for a family vacation.

Located on the best beach in the world, parallel to the shore, this hotel offers easy access to both the pool and ocean. The spacious rooms, like #5229, provide lovely views and are kept clean and tidy by Herlinda. The friendly and efficient staff at Captain's Cove, La Tratoria, and Hacienda Sisal ensure a great dining experience. The pool bars keep guests "hydrated" and the spa offers a relaxing couples massage.

Some guests reported feeling pressured to tip and inconvenience when asking for assistance.

The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is close to many other restaurants in the area, making it convenient for guests to explore different dining options. the hotel is right out to the beach, offering breathtaking views and easy access to a beautiful stretch of sand. the hotel is just a short distance from the center of Cancun, allowing guests to easily explore the city's attractions.

One negative aspect of the hotel is the lack of nightly entertainment. While the sports bar offers a fun atmosphere and features activities such as karaoke, some guests may prefer additional entertainment options in the evenings.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The entrance was excellent and the main lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room had a great ocean and pool view, with a spacious balcony where we enjoyed morning tea. The hotel had a reasonably priced gift shop and the staff were friendly and courteous. The food in the main buffet area was very good, and the hotel even made reservations at local restaurants for us as part of the all-inclusive package. The pool area was amazing and the hotel was right on the beach, providing the perfect location for a family stay.

We absolutely loved the variety and consistently high quality of the food, including the pool swim-up bar and buffet restaurant. The resort also offers dining options at nearby restaurants included in the all-inclusive rate. The pools were perfect for both adults and children, with plenty of chairs, lounge chairs, and umbrellas available.

We felt welcome and had nothing to complain about.
